Founded 1988, Worlds AIDS Day became the first ever global health day to celebrate and commemorate the lives, legacy, and future direction of persons living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS. Celebrated annually on December 1st, World AIDS Day brings together individuals from differing walks and experiences with the purpose of prioritizing HIV/AIDS and health equity.
