It is the Mission of Nevada Legal Services to strengthen the community by ensuring fairness and providing equal access to justice for low-income Nevadans.
Our team of knowledgeable legal experts and volunteer professionals provide personalized assistance to help individuals and families seek and obtain the best use of all legal resources available. We realize that many Nevada residents face disadvantages and financial difficulty when it comes to finding legal help.

Nicholus "Nik" Palmer
NLS is grateful to have the support of Nik Palmer, one of our fantastic pro bono volunteers. Nik generously volunteers his time with NLS, providing expert legal advice in bankruptcy and family law to low-income clients via Zoom. Always ready to help with a great attitude, Nik offers thoughtful guidance and truly impactful support, and we're so lucky to have him on our pro bono team! Nik has practiced law for 20+ years in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, and personal injury. He enjoys the camaraderie of the legal professionals in the Northern Nevada legal community. When not working, he enjoys doing just about anything as long as it's with his family.
