Consumer Law Project

Nevada Legal Services’ Consumer Law Project provides free civil legal services and legal education to veterans, seniors and other Nevadans facing housing or consumer problems. Attorneys are located in the Reno and Las Vegas offices and serve eligible clients in every county across the state.  The Consumer Law Project at Nevada Legal Services assists with housing and consumer issues including evictions, subsidized housing terminations, housing discrimination, sealing eviction records, debt collection actions, wage garnishments and bank levies, bankruptcy, car repossession, foreclosures, mobile home evictions and title issues.

NLS staff work with service providers across Nevada to provide referral and other information about NLS programs and provide staff attorneys to locations to provide resources to the veterans, senior and low income communities across the state. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about how our Consumer Law Project can help!

The Consumer Law Project is funded through the Nevada Attorney General’s Office to support consumer related legal services throughout Nevada. U.S. citizenship, LPR status, or another qualifying immigration status is required to open a case. Feel free to contact Nevada Legal Services with questions about this and our other eligibility qualifications.
