NLS is grateful to have the support of Ryan A. Andersen, Esq., one of our fantastic pro bono volunteers. Ryan generously volunteers his time with NLS, providing expert legal advice in bankruptcy to low-income clients in Southern Nevada. We're so lucky to have him as a pro bono volunteer! Ryan Andersen has considerable experience advising and representing both individuals and businesses in commercial disputes, with particular expertise in complex bankruptcy matters. Mr. Andersen has represented clients in nearly every possible role in complex bankruptcy matters, including debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditor committees, trustees, landlords, and purchasers of assets. Additionally, he has significant experience litigating complex business disputes that arise in bankruptcy cases. Mr. Andersen understands the legal system and focuses on providing clear and insightful legal advice, empowering his clients to make informed decisions. Before starting his own firm in 2014, Mr. Andersen was an attorney in the Litigation Department of Nevada's largest private law firm, where he practiced primarily in complex bankruptcy. Mr. Andersen also served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Bruce A. Markell, former Bankruptcy Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada. He was selected as a “Super Lawyer” in 2023 and 2024 by Super Lawyers Magazine, as a "Rising Star" in 2014 through 2022 by the same publication, and as a member of Southern Nevada's "Legal Elite" by Nevada Business Magazine in 2018 and 2021.
